Candidate attraction is an essential part of recruitment which is why we use a myriad of methodologies to build our database of high calibre, high achieving candidates. When we receive a vacancy request we already have a pool of high quality specilised candidates for each division, allowing us to select from our database, dramatically speeding up the recruitment process. We like to call our method of candidate attraction Recruitment 2.0.
What exactly is Recruitment 2.0?
When looking for candidates we don’t just go after the ‘low hanging fruit’ we dig deeper to unearth unique candidates exclusive to Yolk Recruitment. Recruitment 2.0 a three tier approach that discovers, nurtures and builds talent communities using the following methods.
ONLINE
A recent survey by careerbuilder.com identified that 78% of people use the internet as their main source for finding work. We do things differently at Yolk Recruitment we don’t just post adverts on Facebook or LinkedIn we actively engage with online communities to find the best candidates. Our South Wales Marketing LinkedIn group has over 435 members has been a pivotal in attracting high calibre candidates and our Android developer group is growing everyday.
OFFLINE
While the internet is a powerful tool, getting out there and meeting people face-to-face is still the best method to get to know candidates. Through our sponsorship and involvement of Fiftyone3, the Marketing Awards, the Contact Centre Forum, QCon, DroidCon and the Chambers of Commerce, we are connecting with exclusive candidates that would be not captured by traditional recruitment methods and raising our brand awareness.
SPECIALIST JOB BOARDS
Job board and CV’s databases are a great way of finding potential candidates but unlike most other agency we don’t just stick to the big three. We also subscribe to the smaller more industry focussed boards such as onlyMarketingJobs, Simply Sales Jobs, PurelyIT, CWjobs which attract more high calibre candidates and regional boards such as JobsWales for geographic campaigns. We capture talent as soon as it surfaces through our automated candidate alert system.
