The Client

FMCG Company based in Surrey, my client's products include vegetarian, organic, low fat and gluten/wheat free ranges. They are experiencing a period of rapid growth & have big targets for their key brands.

 

The Role

  • Responsible for developing/executing brand strategy to achieve designated targets
  • build effective relationships with key individuals of the 3rd Party Brand
  • Be expert on Dairy Alternative category, industry developments, competitor information, trends
  • Commercial management of brand to understand price points, costs through the supply chain, brand margin, P&Ls
  • Develop brand plan with responsibility for consumer research, insight generation, pricing, promotional and consumer activity (to include PR and advertising support where applicable)
  • Execute agreed marketing plans to ensure sales and profit targets are met
  • Develop and implement channel strategy plans in Multiples, Health Food Trade and other new business channels
  • Drive and develop NPD/line extensions in line with 3rd party expectations
  • Identify opportunities relevant for the Brand
  • Responsible for the control of the designated A&P budget
  • Maintain P&L control plus sales and margin analysis
  • Design and implement promotional investment strategy
  • Ensure packaging changes are implemented effectively
  • Maintain systems and procedures to ensure the marketing department operates efficiently

 

Requirements

  • FMCG experience essential preferably within dairy/drinks
  • Preferably educated to degree level with a marketing qualification
  • Brand planning
  • Project management in cross functional teams
  • Trade marketing and consumer marketing experience
  • Man management experience preferred
  • Hands on, adaptable diplomatic & analytical

Salary range of £30 - £35k pa
