The Client

My client is respected within the market as a highly skilled and full service sales & marketing company. They create, develop, source and supply private label desserts to the industry.

They also have a large licence brand which requires the TLC of a Brand Manager to continue its impressive growth.


The Role

A huge opportunity to take full brand responsibility whilst liaising closely with the sales team.   The successful candidate will have a largely autonomous opportunity to create the right environment to ensure the continued growth of the brand. Responsibilities will include:

 

  • Initiating and managing a variety of specific brand projects including product development, consumer promotions, advertising and sales promotion
  • Managing specific research projects from start to finish
  • Formation and implementation of the brand marketing plan
  • Analysis, interpretation and presentation of market data to the sales team
  • Acting as the key custodian of the brand throughout the business ensuring key brand plans achieve buy in and that the brand marketing plan is clearly understood by all parties
  • Daily liaison with the PR agency on all brand and business PR (consumer and trade)
  • Regular liaison and interaction with licensor marketing team to build strong relationships and ensure all opportunities are maximised
  • Ad hoc marketing support for the business as a whole

 

Requirements

  • You will have a recognised marketing qualification
  • 2 years marketing experience
  • Knowledge of the food industry essential
  • Experience working successfully with PR agencies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High level of initiative
  • Flexible approach
