The Client
This role is working for a leading, well-established and independent IT consultancy with exciting growth plans. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities to advise clients on how to make best use of their IT infrastructure, and helping them to make the best decisions when investing in new systems.
Responsibilities
- As the Business Development Manager you will be responsible for developing business within the private sector.
- To build and maintain sustainable strong relationships with high value clients.
- With a UK-wide remit, you will travel throughout the country, identifying the best prospects to win business.
- To be as comfortable selling at board level to enterprise companies as you are with SME’s.
Experience required
- You will need to be a proven Business Development Manager with a strong proven track record. Ideally this experience will be selling consulting services and solutions, however other backgrounds within IT technical sales will be considered.
- You will need to be ambitious, eager to earn money and progress your career.
- You will have the upmost integrity, with an honest and open approach to your work.
- Naturally you will be performance driven and used to working in a target driven environment
