The Client
Our client is a well recognised local retailer based in the heart of Cardiff. Due to a major restructure they are now looking to recruit a Buyer to assist with the development of the ranges.
Responsibilities
- Assist with development of the ranges to maximise sales and profit in line with the company’s strategy
- Develop and agree plans with Merchandiser to achieve sales and profit targets
- Work with other internal departments to develop, source and improve our product ranges.
Experience Required
- You must already be a Buyer in your current/previous role – fashion will be a distinct advantage
- Able to work in a fast paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent negotiation skills and strong business acumen
- Creative flair and a passion for fashion
