Our client is a world leader in financial and insurance systems and have recently undergone a business transformation programme that has made them the most sought after employer inSouth Wales. Due to massive demand for their product and services from international clients we are proud to offer 3 Support Analyst vacancies from them.
The role will be to work in a dynamic and exciting Support team based near Newport and support various existing clients with day to day queries and system configurations, the main area of expertise will be databases so experience with debugging and troubleshooting issues with SQL Server or Oracle is essential.
Typical resolutions will require understanding SQL Server or Oracle Stored Procedures, views and functions as well as triggers and indexes within SQL Server or Oracle also exceptional communication skills to diagnose issues, discuss possible resolutions with clients, DBA’s and Project Managers. Experience of dealing support resolution issues with both end uses and in house technical teams is needed as is the ability to document and assist in QA and UAT testing.
Any experience of .NET or Java is advantageous as is experience of Windows OS, Metadata systems and financial or insurance applications.
