Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator

The Client
Our client is a local retailer who is seeking an experienced Facilities coordinator to oversee Head Office. Weekend working and weekday evening working may be required.
Responsibilities
- · To ensure the site is maintained in a safe, clean and tidy condition at all times
- · To maintain the site grounds in a clean and tidy state at all times, including the on site car park
- · Ensure the basement area is kept clear of rubbish and surplus equipment
- · To carry out minor repairs as required
- · To coordinate departmental moves and office layouts in conjuction with the Regional Building Surveyor
- · To carry out weekly test of emergency lighting, fire alarm etc
- · To undertake planned preventative maintenance tasks (eg airconditioning filter cleans, water tests etc)
- · To maintain the meeting room facilities each day, ensuring that each room is set up as required
- · To oversee the operation of contract cleaning within the building, ensure all work is carried out to the required standard
- · To source and procure removal and disposal of recyclable waste and destruction of confidential or sensitive waste paper
- · To ensure all lighting within the building is operating effectively at all times
- · To provide maintenance cover (eg during holiday and sickness periods) for other non retail sites
Experience Required
- Must have at least one years experience working in a similar role
- Must be willing to be a hands on worker and fix things as and when required
Rewards
