Field Sales Executive

The Client

Globally established, successful and recognised as an attractive employer, our client supplies serviced offices with the products needed to successfully protect their business. Due to a large expansion project, they require a field sales executive to pro-actively promote new business sales within their given region. A background in Direct Sales / Field Sales would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Working within your region, you will be responsible for generating new business by cold calling and prospecting
  • Upon arranging appointments with prospects, you will attend sales meetings and negotiate contracts
  • Based primarily from home yet reporting into the office on a weekly basis, you will cold call SME and large corporate clients 1-2 days a week
  • The remainder of your week will be based on the road, attending your pre-agreed sales meetings
  • Visiting existing client contacts to build and grow the client relationships that are in place
  • Utilising your product portfolio, you will pro-actively source customer needs and act on these
  • Working closely within your team, you will spot market-gaps and fill these with new product launches
  • You will use your experience, tenacity and resilience to ensure that targets are met and exceeded

Experience Required

  • Telephone and field based sales experience essential as is B2B contact
  • Experience of negotiating contracts and closing deals
  • Knowledge of selling office consumables is highly beneficial, office equipment also desirable
  • Resilience and tenacity are prerequisites
  • A people person, you will possess the ability to instantaneously build rapport
  • Working to targets, you will understand the importance of exceeding those set
