My client is a leading financial organisation that is at the forefront of global financial transactions and is spear heading the way for other banks to follow. As part of their recruitment strategy for 2012/2013 they are looking to appoint another Graduate Software Developer.
The Graduate Software Developer will naturally come from a relevant Computer Science background where Software Development Principles will be taught as part of the modules.
The Software Developer will have a solid technical understanding of an OO programming language such as Java, PHP, C# or C++ and would have developed applications or proto type systems in the final year of their degree.
The Graduate Software Developer will have an understanding of OO programming and OO design and be familiar with Software Programming best practice through academic studies.
The Graduate Software Developer will have a 2:1 degree as a minimum and ideally from a red brick university. The Graduate Software Developer will have a final year project to show off and be passionate about software development. Any understanding of the Financial Sector would give them a definitive advantage as would a portfolio or sample websites.
If you are a recent Post Graduate and have a minimum 2:1 degree in Computer Science with a love for Software Development then this is the graduate scheme for you.
