Responsibilities
- Working within your identified region you will manage a large account base of existing customers along with some potential customers
- Educating, demonstrating and selling the products to your clients
- Using your initiative to gain a greater understanding of potential business through industry analysis and general networking
- Arranging appointments with your clients and closing business
- Managing relationships with all accounts, growing relationships with new customers
- Using competitor information to your advantage
- Utilising your product portfolio, you will pro-actively source customer needs and act on these
- Take responsibility for pre/post sales financial checks (liaising with credit control etc)
- You will use your experience, tenacity and resilience to ensure that targets are met and exceeded
Experience Required
- Field based sales experience is a definite advantage
- Ideally, you will have experience within the automotive sales industry (Tyres / Exhausts preferably)
- Experience of negotiating contracts and closing whilst maintaining strong profit margins
- Resilience and tenacity are prerequisites
- You must be prepared to work occasional weekends
- Good IT and communication skills
- Must show a high level of enthusiasm and a will to succeed
- Must have valid driving licence
