The Client

Established and ambitious manufacturing company in Caerphilly are seeking a Marketing Communications Executive on a temp to perm basis to cover maternity. If you are successful in this post a permanent role will be made available. 

Responsibilities 

  • Marketing campaigns and campaign planning – for major new launches, working with the Product Managers to create, plan and cost full marketing campaigns and link to internal and external sales. 
  • Marketing Communications – co-ordinating with the Marketing Manager and external design agencies to product support materials, ads, flyers etc 
  • Exhibitions and events – management and co-ordination of both UK and international fairs and press events 
  • Market research – projects ranging from collation of customer databases (such as energy surveyors / SAP assessors) to formal customer market research questionnaires and market studies. 
  • Owner of corporate identity – to control the CI manual and update as new marketing collateral is developed. 

Experience Required 

  • It is essential that you have 2 years+ experience working in a marketing role in a manufacturing/technical/product led business – ideally B2B
  • You must be action orientated with the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • You will have experience managing external agencies
  • You will be an analytical thinker with strong commercial acumen
  • Must be marcomms led – not business intelligence / CRM / other discipline
