Our Client

Our client is a charitable organisation who have a strong local presence. They provide progression and development opportunities and would encourage study support for a CIPD qualification 

The Role 

  • To support the regional HR team in delivering a comprehensive Human Resources service to designated regions
  • Input and maintenance of all data on the HR and Payroll system, including joiners, leavers and pay and contractual changes
  • Handle all recruitment administration post advertising, providing a professional end to end recruitment service for designated regions including:
  • Liaison with Recruiting Managers at all stages of their campaign as required
  • Handle all aspects of recruitment administration, including issue of application packs, interview packs and any general response handling queries as necessary
  • Completing all pre-employment checks
  • Involvement in interviewing as required
  • Preparing paperwork for new Contracts of Employment and amendments to employee terms and conditions
  • Carry out various annual tasks including legal working checks, next of kin updates, clinical registration checks , nightworker health assessments and long service awards
  • Instigate, record and monitor exit interviews for staff leaving the charity
  • Handle requests for references and mortgage applications etc
  • Act as a second checker for all employee CRB/Disclosures applications in the region.
  • Ensuring documents are complete and accurate for signature

Experience Required 

  • A basic understanding of the principles of employment law and application to HR
  • Solid recent generalist HR experience, preferably in a multi-site environment
  • Recent experience of high volume recruitment work
  • Experience of operating and producing reports from a computerised HR system
  • Willingness to travel within region and occasionally further
