Regional Sales Executive - Bristol
South West
£25,000 - £45,000 OTE
The Client
Our client are an international organisation, the market leader in their sector with a 60% market share in the UK. They provide bespoke advertising and promotional services to UK businesses within the private sector. Due to the launch of a new product and the imminent success of this launch, they now require an experienced Regional Sales Manager, preferably with experience in selling advertising and media services, preferably digital/on line.
Responsibilities
- Working within your identified region, you will be responsible for generating new business by contacting prospective clients and presenting the product lines to the decision makers
- Responsible for recruitment, you will be tasked with building a team of dynamic brand managers
- Reporting back to management you will provide details on the growth in revenue you have achieved periodically
- You will be explaining the range of services provided, the benefits and positive impacts to that client's particular business
- Upon arranging appointments with prospects, you will attend sales meetings and negotiate contracts with decision makers at a range of organisations
- You will also account manage existing client contacts to build and grow the client relationships that are in place, after all you'll have won the business and will know them well
- Utilising your product portfolio, you will pro-actively source customer needs and act on these
- Working closely within your team, you will spot market gaps and fill these with new product launches
- You will use your experience, tenacity and resilience to ensure that targets are met and exceeded
Experience Required
- Field based sales experience essential as is B2B contact
- Experience of negotiating contracts and closing deals
- Preferably you will have a new business experience in media sales
- Leisure/retail industry experience desirable
- Knowledge of the local area and a client base that you can immediately benefit from
- Resilience, tenacity and self motivation are prerequisites
- A people person, you will possess the ability to instantaneously build rapport
