My client, a large and expanding international software company have a need for a Senior Server Engineer to join their Technical Services team on a permanent basis.
They are looking for a candidate with extensive knowledge and experience of designing, support and maintaining enterprise level infrastructure.
To apply for this role you will have at least five years experience working in a critical systems environment and have proven ability to design and install entire internal and external infrastructure.
As well as the above you will need to have experience of working with all of the following technologies:
- TCP/IP Protocols
- Windows server 2003-2008 R2
- MySQL server management
- Redhat Linux (Administration
- VMware (vSphere 4 and 5)
- Dell Management Systems
- VPN Technologies
You will also need to have the below qualifications:
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
- ITIL Foundation Certificate
As you will be working as part of the Technical Services Team & occasionally dealing with customers you will need excellent verbal communications skills including the ability to facilitate meetings and manage presentations, the ability to liaise with other areas of the business to ensure customer needs are met and experience of working in project teams.
