My client is an award winning expanding international organisation and is looking for an SQL Database administrator to join their 40 strong IT team.
On a day to day basis you will be expected to manage and maintain the SQL database, take part in various internal projects and liaise with different areas of the business (especially finance) to ensure the company are gaining maximum results from their SQL database.
You will need to meet the below criteria to apply for this role:
- A minimum of 3 years experience working as an SQL DBA
- Experience of working in a highly pressured business environment
- The ability to administer and support a variety of SQL packages including SSRS, SSAS and SSIS
- Experience of working on projects from start to completion
- A fine attention to detail
- Analytical to your approach and the ability to manage your time effectively
- Proven ability to work with different areas of a business
As well as the above it would be advantageous if you have:
- C# exposure and understanding
- Knowledge and experience with T-SQL
- Experience working with Unix or Unidata
- The ability to work with Oracle SQL
