Yolk Recruitment recently appeared in several media publications further to Duncan's, urm...shall we say 'successful' appearance on televisions Masterchef.
A new company specialising in the recruitment of sales personnel has been set up in Cardiff by a contestant in this season's Master Chef Competition on BBC Two. The first of its kind in Wales, Yolk Sales Recruitment has launched to provide specialist expertise and a bespoke sales recruitment service to companies across the Welsh business community.
Duncan Powell 33, from Cardiff has worked in sales & recruitment for the past ten years and brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge of the industry. In his spare time Duncan is a keen amateur chef, and made it through the first qualifying round of the popular Master Chef programme which was screened on Tuesday 13th January. After falling at the second hurdle of the competition which involved working in the kitchens of Pacific Oriental in London, Dale Williams persuaded Duncan to give up the restaurant dream and focus on cracking the sales recruitment market in south Wales.
Dale Williams, 24, also from Cardiff moved over to the recruitment industry two years ago having spent many years in sales previously working in Sales Management for Adler Global. The pair set up the company when they spotted a niche in the current market for a specialist sales recruitment company to operate from within South Wales.
Says Duncan Powell: "Having previously worked in sales, we understand the importance the role a good sales team plays within a business. As the only recruitment company in Wales to specialise in sales staff, our vision for Yolk is to establish ourselves as a top provider to businesses and provide our clients with the best sales staff."
Yolk sets itself apart from other recruitment companies with its direct business approach. The company prides itself on its ability to provide clients with a committed service which will not be compromised and company policy means that they will not service clients that they feel could be serviced better elsewhere.
The company name "Yolk"derives from not only Mr Powell's and Mr Williams' love of food, but that they believe at the centre of every good business is a great sales team, which nourishes the rest of the business, allowing them to do what they do best.
Says Dale Williams "Our business approach is direct, open and effective. To succeed in business a strong sales team is vital in exploiting a company's offering. At Yolk we only register candidates which meet our strict criteria and can therefore ensure an elite selection of candidates for our clients."
"We understand that due to the current economic climate many businesses are reluctant to recruit in many areas of a business, however businesses must remember now more than ever that it is important to have the best sales staff on board to continue to generate business in these difficult times. As a new business starting out we are proud to offer a service that differentiates us from any other recruitment organisation in Wales."
Yolk Sales Recruitment specialise in recruiting for a wide range of sales positions including Sales Management, Business Development, Account Management and Telesales.
