I am recruiting for an experienced Account Manager within the telecoms industry to join a communications/ IT business based in Swindon. This company have a fantastic culture with a people first/ family feel environment.
As an Account Manager you will be developing and maintaining long-term relationships with multiple contacts across all levels and drive cross sell/product penetration across the company’s portfolio.

To further develop the company’s ambitious growth plans, the AM is also incentivised to seek new accounts to either manage or to be absorbed into the existing customer base.
I am looking for someone that is based in the South West and is happy with occasional travel into Swindon, you will be managing your own time and workload.

Ideally, experience within telecoms/ business communications would be ideal but if you have other Account Management experience with an interest in how technology can help businesses, we also want to hear from you!
 
What will I be doing as an Account Manager?
  • To develop and maintain excellent relationships with existing accounts and customers who are using one area of the business
  • Speak to customers through face to face meetings, virtual meetings and phone calls
  • Consistently deliver against business targets - hit set KPI’s, make cross selling and upselling the primary focus
  • Build company proposals that maximise profitability whilst securing business to then complete proposals, present solutions & summary of proposals to clients
  • Manage your pipeline appropriately, always being aware of new opportunities
  • Provide regular & accurate quarterly forecasts to Sales Manager
  • Update the CRM and support with renewal implementation, go live processes and after sales care
  • Maintain and lead a customer first approach in all aspects of the role to ensure Customer Excellence
  • To actively build and maintain knowledge of services and industry offerings
 
 What skills and experience do I need as an Account Manager?
  • Account manager/New business experience within telecoms
  • Proven track record of growth from a base of customers
  • Proven track record of new business acquisition
  • Self-motivated and IT literate, and can adapt communication for a variety audiences
  • Proven record of providing Customer Excellence
  • Tenacity and determination
  • Ability to self-manage and be self-motivated
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and drive results
  • Ability to adapt to a high pressure, fast paced environment

  • Salary of up to £30,000 a year
  • OTE paid quarterly
