​Yolk Recruitment are thrilled to be working exclusively with a brand-new client to South Wales, this London based digital agency are building out a new team here in Cardiff and they are looking for an Android Developer to join their team. Looking to add another 3 developers in 2020, they have big plans for the rest of the year!

Being a digital agency, the products can vary but they are high quality and complex. Helping everyone from tech start ups to established industry names, the role will be varied, fast paced without compromising quality. You will be autonomous in the way you work and not be afraid to introduce new ideas, frameworks and techniques.

Agile/Scrum methodology goes without saying, experience with CI/CD is a huge bonus. They do things the right way!

Essential Skills Required:

• 3+ years experience building Native Applications in Android SDK and Android Studio

• Experience building mobile applications in Kotlin

• Experience writing clean code and building clean architecture

• Unit Tests, Espresso, Mockito, Robolectric

• MVVN/MVP

• RxJava / Couroutines experience

• Continuous Integration experience with Jenkins / GIT

• Dagger

• Retrofit

• Android Jetpack.

This is what you’ll get in return

• Salary up to £60,000

• Modern open plan working space in Cardiff

• Fully remote until 2021, post Covid-19 still fully flexible/remote

• Visits to the office will be required for meetings

• 25 days + 1 day for each completed year
