Cloud Engineer | AWS Migration Project | Multiple Locations Available | Up to £60,000 + 17% Bonus | Hybrid Working (2 days per week onsite) | 2 Stage Interview Process

Yolk Recruitment are supporting a global technology consulting firm in their search for a Cloud Migration Engineers. This role is perfect for a critical thinker with experience in AWS platforms and managing complex operational processes.

They're looking for at least 4 engineers due to a large programme ongoing programme of work. To be successful you will need strong experience migrating applications onto an AWS platform as well as solid client facing consulting experience.

The role can be based in any of their offices (Cardiff, Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Liverpool, London, Glasgow, Edinburgh) & they operate hybrid working with 2 days per week onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customisation, configuration, and integration of GNU/Linux software
• Migration of complex applications / platforms onto AWS
• Implementation of bespoke NiFi processors and integration with commercial security software
• Ansible deployment automation of software upgrades and Linux configuration
• Troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues
• Performance analysis and improvement of multiple large clusters
• Third line support of production environments

Essential Criteria:

• Experience in migrating applications to AWS platforms
• Debugging and troubleshooting complex production issues
• Technology lifecycle management and operational resilience
• AWS PaaS and/or serverless, release deployment, upgrades, CICD
• Experience in a client facing / consultancy role would be beneficial.
