The Opportunity
Yolk Recruitment Public Sector & Not-for-Profit team has partnered with a large education provider in the Swansea region to recruit a Health & Safety Coordinator for a permanent role. The Health & Safety coordinator will provide leadership, direction and support to a team of staff coordinating activity to ensure high quality provision for learners and employers in a H&S environment
 
What the Health & Safety Coordinator will be doing
The Health & Safety Coordinator will lead motivate and inspire a team of Trainers, Tutor Assessors and IV’s to drive the business forward commercially.
  • Provide leadership and direction and support to a team of NEBOSH, Health and Safety, Hospitality and Catering (Food Safety)
  • Coordinating activity to ensure high quality provision for learners and employers.
 
What the successful Health & Safety Coordinator will bring to the team
This role is suitable for someone with management experience who has a background in Health and Safety. You will:
  • Possess occupational competence and NEBOSH Level 6 diploma
  • Ideally have the A1 Assessor Award and or V1 Internal Verifiers award but this is not a deal breaker initially
  • A recognised Teaching and Learning qualification (eg PGCE or be willing to work towards and have a knowledge of digital qualifications.

  • Salary of £37500 with an opportunity to rise to £42,000
