A UK Top 75 law firm, are looking for an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor, to join their Dispute Resolution team as an Associate or Senior Associate. This role is based in Bristol; however, the firm are taking a flexible approach to home working.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded Legal 500 team, help develop your status in the local market, whilst working with well-known clients, and take the next step in your career.
This is what you’ll be doing
- Manage a caseload of broad and varied Commercial Litigation work
- Work with large multinationals and financial institutions, through to owner managed businesses and SMEs (both locally and internationally)
- Be given support from a team that offer in depth experience on both claimant and defendant files, and who have a wide breadth of experience balancing regulatory compliance, media scrutiny and commercial drivers
- Build and maintain long lasting relationships with clients, to provide a boutique service
- Continue to develop your status, as well as the firms, as a key player in the Bristol legal market
The experience you’ll bring to the team
- Solicitor with at least 4 PQE
- Experience in running your own general commercial litigation caseload
- Experience in one of the following sectors would be advantageous: Retail & Consumer, Banking & Finance, or Energy & Infrastructure
- Exceptional client care skills
- An interest in business development, networking and enhancing the firm’s presence in the local area
- Financial ombudsman experience would be beneficial
- The drive and determination to continue progress your career with the firm, and help others in the team progress also
