A UK Top 75 law firm, are looking for a driven Commercial Solicitor, to join their ambitious commercial team, to strengthen their focus on Data Protection. This role is based in Bristol; however, the firm are taking a flexible approach to home working.
This is an excellent opportunity to progress your career in a highly regarded Legal 500 team and to help develop your status in the Bristol market.
This is what you’ll be doing
- Work closely with a highly regarded Partner and deal with a broad variety of data protection matters, including compliance audits, HR/IT system roll-outs, group date processing arrangement and international data transfers
- Work with large multinationals and household names
- You will also have the opportunity to work with the broader commercial team (IP/Tech) and even have the opportunity to work in those teams on secondment
- Play an integral part in business development, and be given relevant training on your networking and technical skills
- Continue to develop your status, as well as the firms, as a key player in the Bristol legal market
The experience you’ll bring to the team
- Solicitor with at least 1 PQE
- Experience in a wide variety of commercial matters, including data protection
- Exceptional client care skills, with experience working with clients of differing size and profile
- An interest in business development and networking
- A positive and pragmatic approach to securing the best solutions for your clients, and meeting tight deadlines
- The drive and determination to continue progress your career within data protection
