Design & Content Manager

Yolk are excited to be working in exclusive partnership with FOR Cardiff in their search for a Design & Content Manager, this is a truly unique opportunity for you to have a big impact on the beautiful city we call home.

The role

As the Design & Content Manager you will work closely with the Head of Marketing & Communications. You will help mould the marketing strategy for the organisation, as well as leading on the planning and design of B2B and B2C marketing and communications campaigns across print, digital, social and web.

• Design key documents such as the quarterly newsletter and annual report, event and campaign collateral, website, presentations, media buying adverts for businesses

• Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns

• Edit and post videos, podcasts and audio content to online sites

• Oversee a social media strategy for the company’s multiple channels

• ·Support in the management and maintenance of the organisation’s website

• Write and optimise content for the website and social networking accounts such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter

• Track and analyse website traffic flow and provide regular internal reports

• Fix any errors or bugs in online content

• Identify new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies and ensure the brand is at the forefront of industry developments

• Support the rolling out of the marketing and communications strategy

• Creation of video content including shooting video content, editing content such as capturing events, vox pop and projects

The Candidate

• Undergraduate Degree in Graphic Design, Art, Marketing, or similar discipline is desirable

• Qualified member of the CIM or equivalent.

• In-depth Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign experience

• Video editing experience

• Experience in working with WordPress

• Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice.

• Experience in email marketing, and social media.

• Previous experience in a similar digital/design marketing role.

• Desirable – Welsh speaker

Benefits

• Paying a basic salary of between £28,000 - £32,000 DOE.

• Monday to Friday working hours (9 am – 5.30pm) –37.5 hour working week
