Finance Manager – Fixed Term

Yolk recruitment Public Sector and Not-for-Profit are working with a charity based in Bristol to hire a part time Finance Manager on a fixed term basis until the end of March 2023.

This charity supports children and families who have been affected by sexual abuse through support services and therapy to help improve their quality and hope amongst other things.

We are looking for an individual who not only has a passion for the finance world but who also wants to be a part of the bigger picture and really thrive off giving back and helping others.

What the Finance Manager will be doing:

  • Responsible for assisting the CEO with planning and monitoring income generation

  • Reviewing financial policy for the charity 0020

  • Oversight of contracts and grants

  • Monthly reporting of operations to board of trustees

What the Finance Manager will need:

  • Qualified accountant or equivalent relevant experience

  • Experience working within charities and an excellent understanding of their finances

  • Experience of:

    • Forecasting

    • Bookkeeping

    • Budgeting

    • Monthly reporting to operations and board of trustees

    • Contracts management

What you will get in return as Finance Manager:

  • Salary range - £37,000-£43,000

  • Flexible and hybrid working

  • 20 hours a week – part-time

  • Supportive and friendly environment

  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and a Christmas shutdown
