The Opportunity

Our client is one of South Wales' leading education sector organisations currently in the middle of a company wide IT transformation and change programme of work and seeking an experienced Infrastructure Manager to lead their Networks & Telecoms team. They have a collaborative working environment and a shared vision.

The Role

We are seeking a hands on IT Manager who can both roll up their sleeves and be fully immersed in supporting the Windows environment and also build IT process and procedures for DR, Backups, Security and Service Desk Ticketing whilst managing a small desktop technical analyst team.

IT Managers who have worked within Public Sector/Education and have been responsible for all Windows Servers, Active Directory, Exchange, VOIP, Security and Disaster Recovery as well as shaping strategy and direction will be an ideal fit.

Skills/Experience

• Experience in leading and managing a team supporting infrastructure systems

• Experience of building successful teams, building a positive team ethos and embedding change

• Networking - all routers, switches, VPN, TCP/IP, VOIP

• Cisco (CCNP/CCNA)

• Exchange

• Cloud Services (Azure/AWS)
