IT Support Analyst 
Cardiff (Office Based)
Up to £25,000


Yolk Recruitment are working with a global consulting firm looking for an IT Support Analyst to join their Cardiff office. 

As IT Support Analyst you will provide 1st line level support to the organisations internal users both from a remote & deskside perspective. Their desktop environment is heavily Windows based utilising Windows OS, Office 365, Active Directory & Exchange so prior experience supporting these technologies would be highly beneficial but not required. This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking to get their 1st or 2nd job in IT & the company will provide a good level of training in all aspects of IT Support. 

They are based in Central Cardiff & the role will be predominantly office based. 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Daily administration of the Service Desk, ensuring all service requests are logged and resolved promptly or escalated as required.

  • Providing 1st line support for hardware and software related problems/incidents.

  • Supporting Windows based desktop environment, Windows OS, Office 365, Active Directory & Exchange. 

  • Assisting with the procurement, installation, configuration, maintenance, licensing and auditing of company hardware and software as required.

  • Provide support to various IT Projects as required.


Essential Skills: 

  • Good customer service skills. 

  • Competent on the phone. 

  • Willingness & ability to learn.

  • Good problem solving skills. 


The following technical skills would be beneficial but not required: 

  • Windows OS

  • Office 365

  • Active Directory / Exchange

  • Exposure to Service Desk ticket logging
