Yolk Recruitment are working with a top UK law firm who are looking to hire a Junior level Product Specialist. 

The role would see you join a large and established company who can provide fantastic training and support. The role will involve helping and supporting the organisation’s repository of software applications for Collaboration and Client Services. This will require strong communication and problem-solving skills to guide and assist on issues related to the information and software systems.

This is the chance to join a large law firm with offices in London, Oxford, Cardiff, Belfast, Dublin and Hong Kong, who are recognised by clients and industry for their distinct culture, market-leading practice areas, sector focused approach and for providing solutions to complex business challenges, with a pragmatic and human touch.


What you'll be doing:

  • Taking ownership of support escalations

  • Updating the firm’s Intranet and disaster recovery sites

  • Adding and updating Client and Collaboration services systems such Extranets and HighQ

  • Consult with company’s software suppliers for prompt rectification of any problems or emergencies

  • Assist in pre-testing phases of new systems and improvements

  • Collaborating with team members to ensure excellent product delivery

  • Participating in Projects where appropriate


What you'll need to get started: 

  • Experienced in providing application support

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong problem solving and customer service skills

  • Experience of working in a legal or professional services environment would be beneficial



Desirable Skills or Experiences: 

  • Experience in applications such as document managing systems (NetDocuments) and Client and Collaboration applications such as SharePoint, M365 & Extranets

  • Ability to develop skills in Document Automation, Client training applications and Contract Lifecycle management
