QA Laboratory Technician
£27,500 + £9000 SA

Shift Pattern:
2 days, 2 afternoons, 2 nights, 2 off for 5 weeks then 10 days off

Yolk recruitment is working with a well known manufacturer who produce a broad range of products found in everyday use. They are looking for a QA Shift Technician to join their expanding Quality department.

Reporting to the QA Manager, working a 5 shift rota you will be an integral part of this fantastic business.
What you will be doing as QA Laboratory Technician:

• Receive and analyse samples from the Production units to expected turnaround times using a combination of techniques, which include GC, HPLC and IC as well as a variety of classic analytical methods. 

• Communicate and report results through a variety of specialist database systems.

• Perform calibration of key laboratory instrumentation. 

The skills you will bring as QA Laboratory Technician:

• Safety conscious with a good knowledge of chemical hazards.

• Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities. 

• Capable of working under their own initiative and as part of a team. 

• Reliable, conscientious with a great work ethic. 

Previous experience in some or all of the following would be advantageous:

• Practical laboratory experience and an A Level in a Scientific subject.

• Experience working to a recognized quality standard. 

• Literate in Microsoft Office applications and SAP.
