Marketing and Communications Officer
The Opportunity
Yolk Recruitment Public Sector & Not-for-Profit team has partnered with an arm’s length body of Welsh government. We are supporting them to recruit a Marketing and Communications Officer. This role is an exciting development opportunity to hone your marketing skills within a department that values learning and personal development. This is a broad role, giving you exposure at a senior level as well as the opportunity to lead on some comms projects.
This is a flexible working role with a requirement to be in the office at least 1 day per week.
What the Marketing and Communications Office will be doing
The Marketing and Communications Officer will be working on various projects and providing support to a well-established comms team. You will be social media savvy, providing support when it comes to video content and managing the social media channels.
- Support to develop a new bi-lingual website.
- Proof reading
- Lead on digital content including video
- Lead on social media
What the successful Marketing and Communications Officer will bring to the team
This role is suitable for someone who has:
- Proven experience in a similar communication related role
- An eye for detail, and highly organised
- A can-do attitude and willing to learn new skills
- Be a fantastic team player with big ideas
- A Welsh speaker would be beneficial but is not essential
