The firm
This role is with an impressive boutique law firm who are due to expand and open a new office in the very Centre of Bristol in 2022. This firm provides specialised legal advice comparable in quality to the UK top firms but maintains its personal touch. The firm is forward thinking, they have their very own client portal, they can operate fully virtually for clients given the current climate and are committed to outstanding client care as they have a guaranteed communication charter for clients.
The team
This firm is considered Boutique and so there is a less than 12 person head count. Within this environment, you would not be restricted to dealing with one aspect of a legal matter, you would have exposure to the full timeline of claims as well as working alongside legal professionals with a wealth of experience. There is a flat management scheme and so the managing director is actively involved in the development of the team. As part of the team you would be instrumental in assisting in the continued development and growth of the commercial, corporate and real estate departments.
This is what you will be doing:
- Working closely with the associate of the commercial real estate and corporate team
- Working primarily on commercial real estate work but also supporting corporate and commerical
department with matters relating to sale of acquisition of businesses. - Building relationships with clients
- Providing straightforward, high standard advice to clients
- Assisting with an existing case load in corporate and commercial
Experience you will bring to the team:
- Graduate or strong experience as a paralegal with strong academic record
- Experience within property and/or corporate and commercial as a paralegal
- Be comfortable with a varied case load in wider property law
- Articulate verbally and in writing
- Be approachable and professional
- Enjoy being part of a dynamic team but comfortable to work autonomously
