Yolk Recruitment are working with a top UK law firm who are looking to hire a Product Specialist. 

The role would see you join a large and established company who can provide fantastic training and support. The role is to maintain the organisation’s repository of software applications for Collaboration and Client Services. The Product Specialist provides demonstrations to end users and clients. You will apply proven communication and problem-solving skills to contribute to issues related to the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical information and software systems.

This is the chance to join a large law firm with offices in London, Oxford, Cardiff, Belfast, Dublin and Hong Kong, who are recognised by clients and industry for their distinct culture, market-leading practice areas, sector focused approach and for providing solutions to complex business challenges, with a pragmatic and human touch.

The role is also hybrid and there is flexibility on what office location you should attend with the Cardiff, London and Belfast offices being options. 


What you'll be doing:
This role is split into the Operational and Panning aspects as such, I have highlighted a few points from each area of the role.


Operational:

  • Contribute and communicate training and documentation for end users, attend user groups as necessary, and other user-related activities.

  • Assist in developing, distributing, and coordinating in-depth end-user reviews for modified and new systems or applications.

  • Adding and updating Client and Collaboration services systems.

  • Assist and contribute to pre-testing phases of new systems and improvements.

  • Work with the applications team to install, configure, and deploy new applications.

  • Guiding and supporting more junior team members to deliver the allocated work to a very high standard and in a timely manner.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent product delivery.


Planning:

  • Contributes to development and presentation of routine business cases by completing supportive research and other tasks under the supervision of senior team members.

  • Review and analyze existing applications effectiveness and efficiency, work with the Portfolio lead to implement Client and Collaboration service system improvements.



What you'll need to get started: 

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience with core software applications for Client and Collaboration Services including, NetDocuments, HighQ, Extranets, SharePoint, Outline, Document Automation, Client training applications and CLM’s.

  • Experience in providing application support and strong problem solving and customer service skills.

  • Experience of working in a legal or professional services environment would be beneficial.

  • A desire to learn and take on new challenges in order to gain new skills.
