This well-established engineering business designs and manufactures high quality bespoke products, providing customer led engineering solutions to high profile clients across the globe in a range of industries. Due to ongoing success and business growth a new opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineer to join the team.

As the Project Engineer you will play a key role as the interface between internal departments, contractors and suppliers over seeing projects from start to finish as well as being responsible for communicating with clients, keeping them up to date with the daily running of each project. The ideal candidate will be have a can do attitude, mechanically minded, have experience leading and delivering projects within MOD or aviation. A security clearance check will be required.

This is what you will be doing as a Project Engineer

• Responsible for the project delivery from start to finish.
• Produce and complete project documentation required by the client.
• Prepare milestone documentation ready for client meetings.
• Key communicator between business and client.
• Manage project budgets including material spend, production cost and contractor spend.
• Work alongside internal departments such as engineering, R&D, and production.
• Pass a BPSS Security clearance.

• Educated to a degree level within Engineering.
• Proficient in using Excel.
• Lead multiply high-profile projects.
• Keeping track of project costs and budgets.
• Communicate with all stakeholders.
• Problem solve and reduce any potential risks.
• Be hands on.
• Complete all project documentation and administrative duties.

• A salary of £35,000 - £39,000 depending on experience
