Yolk Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for an experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee all aspects of purchasing for our client's sites. Based from Swansea, but with 2/3 days a month in their site in England , you will ensure that all material requirements are met in a timely manner through effective inventory and supply management.

This is what you'll be doing as Purchasing Manager:

• Developing and maintaining critical supplier relationships
• Reviewing and developing key supplier contracts and agreements
• Establishing effective partnership with Supplier Quality
• Reducing/eliminating downtime caused by material shortages
• Developing, maintaining and reviewing purchasing KPIs
• Develop expertise on both ERP systems and develop standard work for purchasing processes.
• Maintain accurate stock levels
• Monitor and manage all outstanding Purchase Orders

The experience you'll bring to the team as Purchasing Manager:

• HND or higher (Higher National Diploma or Degree Qualified) in Purchasing & Logistics or Purchasing & Supply Chain Management
• Strong time management, negotiation and market research skills
• Literacy and numeracy with computer literacy
• Good interpersonal skills, self-motivation and reliability
