Yolk recruitment is working with a leading software company to hire a Sales Development Representative full of energy and enthusiasm.
The leading software company have an all-in-one community management and engagement platform – They power communities and help them thrive and maximize their impact.

The SaaS platform serves customers across a variety of industries including higher education, non-profit, and corporate.
In 2020, they were awarded five Great Place to Work labels, they were recognized as a G2 High Performer, and won the International Prize by EY, SYNTEC Numerique, and TECH IN France.

You’ll be engaging with warm leads and taking them through the qualification process, from discovery call to Demo and then passing over to the Account Executive to close.


What skills/experience do I need as a Sales Development Representative:

  • You have experience in Sales or a recent graduate looking to break into sales.

  • You have high energy levels with enthusiasm for building relationships

  • You have a high level of oral and written communication skills

  • You have confidence to pick up the phone and start the initial conversation with someone

  • You have the ability to work under pressure and ability to prioritise and work to deadlines

  • A previous CRM experience is a bonus

  • You are a strong team player and self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment

  • You are assertive, passionate, and takes consultative approach with internal and external stakeholders


The role and your Key Responsibilities as a Sales Development Representative:

  • Make initial calls to warm leads to convert into Prospects

  • Identify the decision makers at potential clients

  • Act as the primary point of contact for any enquiries or incoming leads

  • Build relationships with clients – always ensuring a high level of professionalism & knowledge

  • Research potential clients, connect with and inform prospects, and qualify leads before handing over to the Account Executive team

  • Apply a tactical and methodical approach to ensure the sales pipeline is effectively managed

  • Compose professional and compelling email communication to engage prospects

  • Ensure the CRM is kept up to date with correct information relating to each prospect
