This is what you’ll be doing
- Provide a Senior Paralegal level of support to a Partner within the Clinical Negligence team, and run your own matters when appropriate
- Undertake fee earning tasks, and escalate any complex issues to the Partner
- Provide excellent client service at all times, and act as a key point of contact between the client and the firm
- Manage Clinical Negligence files under supervision, including liaising with courts, arranging meetings and obtaining legal documents
- Liaise with clients over the phone, email, letter and face to face
- Provide administrative support for business development activities, and attend dinners where appropriate with the Society of Clinical Injury Lawyers
The experience you’ll bring to the team
- Experience in a clinical negligence paralegal role is highly preferred (a minimum of 12 months)
- Notably, if you have over 2 years of experience in personal injury, on the claimant side, your application with also be considered
- LLB or CILEx is desirable
- A real interest in Clinical Negligence is essential
- Excellent attention to detail is essential
- Excellent organisation skills are essential
- A strong team player, with excellent communication skills
- £30,000 - £40,000 depending on your experience
