Yolk Recruitment is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a dynamic Product Engineering team. The Senior Full Stack Engineer will use their engineering expertise to support the team in optimizing, evolving, and continually extending a complex and high-traffic web application in the active lifestyle/leisure industry. The ideal candidate will have solid experience with PHP (current technology stack), Laravel, and AWS, and have worked on high volume databases.

Requirements

• Expertise in building and evolving complex web applications, creating suites of APIs and efficient data storage solutions (relational and nonrelational)
• Strong skills in PHP in a commercial setting, preferably with experience in the Laravel framework (or similar frameworks such as Symfony)
• Proven experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Proven experience in designing scalable UI's and large applications.
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure and tools such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience handling queues of jobs and processes to manage data synchronization in and out of environments.
• Proficient skills in using the command line and command line tools like git.
• Experience with CI/CD and best practices for deploying software.
