Senior Marketing Executive

£25,000 - £29,000 per annum + excellent benefits

Cardiff (hybrid, requiring 1 - 2 days in the office per week)

Yolk Recruitment are proud to be exclusively partnered with a fast-growing Cardiff based organisation in their search for a Senior Marketing Executive. The successful candidate will be confident in their digital marketing abilities, and seeking the next step in their career.

Here's what you'll be doing:

Alongside creating content, executing the company marketing strategy and driving traffic and to the website, you will become a product specialist and spearhead new initiatives to promote to the right audience. You will be a senior member of a marketing team of 5, reporting to the Head of Marketing.

• Writing engaging email content to be used for web, blogs and whit papers.
• Continually improving and monitoring automated email marketing to ensure the flow of customers through the sales funnel.
• Carrying out SEO audits, keyword research and working to optimise our website pages for organic search traffic with the support of an external SEO consultant.
• Updating the website to ensure all information is accurate and up to date.
• Developing and implement lead campaigns to run across all marketing channels and creating a campaign and content calendar.
• Working alongside marketing assistant to create social media content for various platforms to support campaigns.
• Identifying new trends in digital marketing, evaluating new technologies and ensuring the brand is at the forefront of new developments in digital marketing.
• Working with the Head of Marketing to identify relevant PR opportunities for the products you manage.
• Working with the Head of Marketing to identify and evaluate online advertising and lead generation opportunities.
• Working with the PPC executive to create engaging copy for paid search and social advertising campaigns.

The skills and experience you'll bring to the team:

• You'll have a degree in Marketing or a CIM qualification
• Extensive experience of email marketing and preferably Active Campaign software
• A strong understanding of Google Analytics and proficiency in its use
• A proven track record of planning, implementing and evaluation marketing campaigns on a brand and product level
• Excellent copy-writing skills and attention to detail
• You'll be competent with data evaluation, spreadsheets and statistical reporting
• A can-do attitude and the willingness to continue to develop and improve your marketing skills and knowledge
• Experience in Hubspot and MailChimp would be an advantage
