Yolk Recruitment are working with an innovative Medical Device manufacturer based in Pencoed. They are searching for an experienced Systems Analyst to join their engineering team.
If successful you will join an experienced team responsible for the optimisation of company software systems to troubleshoot and increase efficiency. You will develop requirements for change by working with the business users, define testing needed, support writing and execution of test scripts. You will be open to exploring new technologies and systems as necessary, tweak the role of technology in an organisation, and present new ways of doing business to the overall team.
This is what you'll be doing:
- Resolution of MES systems or data issues (breakdown recovery).
- Ad-hoc data extracts and development of reports for internal customers.
- Working with the business and other stakeholders to provide expert analysis and advice on system renewals and upgrades
- Provide systems Subject Matter Expertise to the local and wider business.
- Support the generation of business cases for major strategic projects.
- Identify and document and execute system test strategies for systems validation.
The experience you'll bring to the team:
- Degree level within science/computing, or relevant experience within a similar role and a willingness to learn.
- Software skills: MSSQL, Oracle SQL and data migrations
- Data and process modeling
- Software Validation expertise
- Microsoft Team Foundation Server
- Strong analytical skills to effectively be the link between the business users and the support team
