Technical Sales Engineer

Do you have a formal qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline? Do you have experience in technical sales? Do you have knowledge of the Food and Drink industry? If so this could be the perfect role for you…

This is what you’ll be doing

You will be assisting with major projects RFQ’s, tenders and the preparation of technically and commercially compliant quotation documents. You will use your technical knowledge and sales experience to provide support and advice. You will liaise with other team members whilst being a key point of contact for customers both pre and after sales. You will be expected to travel across UK mainland.

·Assisting in generating and qualifying new sales leads.

·Participate in bid reviews and accurately interpret customer requirements.

·Provide pre-sales technical support to the team.

·Negotiate pricing and terms as instructed by the senior sales team.

·Ensure that sales targets are met.

The experience you’ll bring to the team

·Formal qualification in Mechanical engineering or similar discipline

·Experience in technical sales

·Knowledge and experience of the food and drink industry.

·Be highly driven and motivated.

And this is what you’ll get in return

£35k to £38k dependent on skills and experience
