The Opportunity
This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated senior technology professional to join a rapidly growing SaaS organisation with a global footprint. As a key member of their leadership team, you’ll join a technology focussed market leading business playing a key role in shaping their future.
The Role
Reporting to the CTO, the VP of Engineering will personally be responsible for heading up the Global R&D function for the company’s core SaaS solution. Responsible for inspiring, leading and establishing strategy, you’ll work closely with business and product heads to lead a development function that will build excellence in delivery.
Aligning technical strategy with the wider group, the VP of Engineering will have a deep understanding of software technologies, have experience of strategic thinking and delivery of technical roadmaps and when required will be customer facing, representing the company at wider strategic networking events.
Required Skills
- Ideally at least 3 years previous experience as a VP Engineering or Head of Development.
- Proven track record of success in positions of senior leadership and influence, including coaching teams.
- Experience managing large, outsourced teams (40+).
- Demonstratable experience working hand-in-hand with a product function. Supporting the definition and delivery of product strategy.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and delivering complex products, at scale, on budget and on time.
- Proven track record in scaling and building a development function across an international footprint.
- Previous experience of acquisition integration; combining and scaling products and technologies.
