CISCO VOICE ENGINEER - INSIDE IR35 - £550 PER DAY - SC CLEARED - 9 MONTHS - NEWPORT - SINGLE STAGE INTERVIEW

Yolk Recruitment are recruiting for a Cisco Voice Engineer to work a 9 month contract with our major defence client in Newport, South Wales.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and integrate Cisco Call Manager system architecture
• Lead key areas of voice and VTC network design and implementation
• Troubleshoot and solve problems with voice and collaboration systems
• Support and administer backend video conferencing platforms
• Document design and implementation work to ensure repeatability and reuse

Desirable Criteria:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in secure environments like MOD/NATO
• Strong technical skills in Cisco VOIP (CUCM), Cisco Unified Border Control Element (CUBE), Cisco Instant Messaging and Presence (IMP), Cisco video bridging infrastructure, and Cisco TelePresence
• Knowledge of Microsoft Lync/Skype for Business
• Understanding of network protocols within the TCP suite, including SIP and H323
• Familiarity with voice recording technologies and telephony to radio integration

Additional Requirements:

• Proactive, diligent, and customer-focused with excellent presentation skills
• Willingness to travel internationally within European NATO countries
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders including Systems Design Authorities, Lead Delivery Engineers, and third party COTS product suppliers
