Yolk Recruitment is working with a forward-thinking manufacturing company in Neath. The client specialises in innovative and high-quality manufacturing solutions

They're now looking for an experienced HR professional to take the reins on all things people related. If you enjoy being hands-on in a standalone HR role where you can really make an impact, this could be just the move for you.

What you'll be doing:

This is a varied and important role where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for:

Overseeing the full recruitment and onboarding process
Managing the company's appraisal system and conducting appraisal meetings
Making sure policies and procedures comply with employment legislation
Monitoring attendance, absence and performance across the team
Identifying training needs and delivering effective training programmes
Handling formal grievances and disciplinary matters
Supporting the wider team with general HR queries and advice

What experience you'll bring to the role:

Previous experience in a HR role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
Confident handling employee relations matters
A proactive and approachable attitude - someone the team can trust and turn to
CIPD qualification would be beneficial, but experience is key

What you'll get in return:

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm, Friday 8.30am - 3.00pm
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)
28 days holidays, including Bank Holidays (Christmas shut down)
