Infrastructure Engineer | High Level Security Clearance Required | Gloucestershire | Up to £80,000 (dependent on experience)

Yolk Recruitment are working with a National Security Consultancy based in Gloucestershire. They're recruiting for several Windows focused Infrastructure Engineers to join a critical project.

As Infrastructure Engineer you will be responsible for the design build & maintenance of secure windows infrastructure including on-prem, virtual (Hyper-V & VMware) & cloud hosted (Azure) solutions. To be successful you will need strong experience in Windows Server administration (on-prem & VM's) & automation scripting (PowerShell, Python or similar) exposure to Azure administration would be highly beneficial.

They're based in Gloucestershire & the role requires active high level clearance.

What you will be doing:

• Designing, building & maintaining hybrid windows infrastructure, on-prem & VM's (Hyper-V & VMware).
• Automating infrastructure tasks using PowerShell or a similar scripting language.
• Developing and maintaining backup and disaster recovery strategies for Windows-based systems.
• Implement security policies and configurations to protect systems from threats and vulnerabilities. Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations and internal security standards.
• Oversee Active Directory (AD) services, including user and group account management, Group Policy administration, DNS, DHCP, and security policies.

The experience you'll bring to the team:

• In-depth experience managing hybrid Windows Server Infrastructure.
• Experience building & maintaining virtual machines (Hyper-V & VMware).
• Automation scripting (PowerShell, Python or similar).
• Exposure to Azure administration would be highly beneficial.
• Active high level security clearance is essential.
