Systems Test Engineer - £35 per hour Inside IR35 - 12 Months (extensions highly likely) - Cheshire - standard 35 hours across 4.5 days (working between 7-7) - Onsite working - One stage interview - Sector: Aerospace and Defence

Yolk Recruitment are searching for an Aircraft Systems Test Engineer to work with a leading aerospace client pushing the boundaries of technologies in their sector.

This role will give you access to work across all aircraft programmes supporting the testing of the aircraft through the manufacturing process. This is a technical role that involves office-based work but also requires physical inspections on aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Dealing with queries that are of a Mechanical/Electrical bias that are raised by Operations and finding a solution on the aircraft in conjunction with Design.
• Creating and updating BVTI's, BVRI's, GTI's and RTI's.
• Process improvement projects.
• Preparing and setup of the systems and integration.
• Creating Material masters for new part requirements and extension for maintained parts.
• Ability to work across Disciplines Electrical, Structures, Hydraulic and Fuel Systems

Essentials

• Ability to interpret and understand engineering drawings.
• Experience using SAP software
• Material Master creation experience
• Knowledge of aircraft structure or systems installation and test.
• Experience of Quality Assurance / Quality Management Systems.
• Working knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering processes and procedures.

• Familiar with SQCDP principles.
• CATIA V5 interrogator
