Yolk Recruitment is working with a Financial Services company based in Cardiff who are looking for a Team Leader to support their sales team and help develop and increase productivity.
The team will be selling Home Insurance and working with brokerages off the back of warm leads generated by Mortgage Advisors.
My client is in such an exciting phase of their growth plans and are looking for someone who brings energy, enthusiasm, and a leadership quality to inspire a team of sales consultants.
You will be leading a team of 11 and your focus will be to provide support and coaching and keep team morale up and productivity.

What skills/experience do I need as a Team Leader:

Previous experience in managing a team
Proven track record of motivating individuals / team to hit targets
Understanding of home insurance (Not essential but preferred)
Must enjoy working with and being challenged by sales targets.
Experience in a FCA regulated environment (Preference)
Ability to read and understand data analysing team performance
Excellent problem-solving skills
Experience in performance management
Hands on approach
Excellent verbal and written skills

The role and your Key Responsibilities as a Team Leader:

Coach and develop a team of 11 to help achieve personal and team targets
To ensure you remain up to date with procedures/processes, products, new schemes and/or scheme changes and communicate these effectively to your team.
Oversee escalations and ensure they’re resolved swiftly.
To effectively communicate technical, client, customer, service and system related issues or staff related issues to your direct line manager providing recommendations for swift resolutions.
To monitor, record and effectively manage absence and time keeping issues in line with Company procedures.
Deliver monthly 1:1’s ensuring objectives are recorded and monitored, coaching plans are defined, monitored, and documented providing an audit trail.
Provide a positive attitude to wars company changes
