Are you an organised, proactive Bookkeeper looking to take the next step in your career? We're looking for a PQ / AAT Bookkeeper to join our team and support our finance function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate sales and purchase ledgers
  • Process invoices, payments, expenses, and receipts
  • Prepare and post journals, accruals, and prepayments
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cashflow
  • Assist with monthly management accounts preparation
  • Support budget monitoring and reporting
  • Prepare information for year-end accounts and audits
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Support with gift aid, restricted funds, and other charity-related tasks (if applicable)
  • Liaise with suppliers, staff, and external partners as needed
  • General financial administration and ad-hoc finance support

What we're looking for

  • PQ or AAT-qualified (or working towards) Bookkeeper
  • Xero experience is highly desirable
  • Charity sector experience is a bonus, but not essential
  • Strong communication skills and a high level of attention to detail
  • Someone commutable to our office - we value in-person collaboration but offer hybrid flexibility
