Transport Planner- £33,000

Yolk Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading company in the construction industry, looking for a Transport Planner to join their team in Treforest. This is an exciting time to grow an expanding team.

What will the role entail:

Serve as the first point of contact for all distribution-related queries, ensuring smooth and timely delivery of products from quarries and plants across the region.
Manage inbound customer calls and emails, process orders, and provide updates on distribution status.
Collaborate with Logistics, Commercial, and Production teams to enhance service efficiency.
Track orders proactively to ensure successful delivery and resolution of any issues.

What experience will you need:

Understanding of the construction and transport industries (preferred but not essential).
Proven experience in transport planning, with a strong grasp of road haulage requirements..
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a commitment to high-quality service.
