Open Doors Pledge

Creating Opportunity for Everyone

Open Doors Pledge

Our Commitment

At Recolution Recruitment Group, we believe opportunity should be open to everyone — regardless of background, identity, or circumstance.

Through our Open Doors Pledge, we are using our influence as both an employer and a recruitment partner to break down barriers, champion diversity, and create fair pathways into meaningful work.

Open Doors is more than a statement — it’s a promise to act.

We will measure our progress, share our outcomes, and continuously improve how we attract, support and represent people from all walks of life.

Our Pledge

We pledge to:

  1. Champion Inclusive Hiring – Embed inclusive recruitment practices across our business and our clients, ensuring fairness, accessibility and equity in every process.

  1. Widen Access to Opportunity – Support underrepresented groups through outreach, mentoring, employability events, and partnerships that help people gain skills and confidence to thrive in work.

  1. Build Representation – Improve diversity within our own team and across the roles we fill, actively challenging bias and tracking progress through data and transparency.

  1. Create a Culture of Belonging – Foster an environment where everyone feels valued, respected and empowered to bring their authentic selves to work.

  1. Measure, Report and Improve – Publish annual updates on our diversity data, initiatives, and progress against our inclusion goals.

How We Deliver
  • Inclusive Recruitment Framework: Every consultant is trained annually on inclusive hiring, accessibility, and anti-bias recruitment.

  • Partnerships: Collaborating with organisations supporting underrepresented communities — including social mobility, disability inclusion, and early careers charities.

  • Targeted Outreach: Proactively engaging with underrepresented groups through community networks, professional associations, and targeted campaigns. This includes outreach to individuals from ethnic minority backgrounds, people with disabilities, veterans, care leavers, and returners to work — ensuring they have clear pathways into the roles we recruit.

  • Mentoring & Employability Support: Delivering workshops and one-to-one coaching through our Time Well Spent and Recruitment for Good programmes, volunteering to help individuals build confidence and employability skills.

  • Data & Transparency: Annual D&I reporting shared internally and externally, demonstrating year-on-year improvement in representation and accessibility.

  • Accreditation & Standards: Progressing to Level 2 of a Disability Confident Employer.

Our Goal
  • By 2029, we aim to be recognised as a sector leader in inclusive recruitment — a business that not only opens doors for others but holds them wide open.

  • Through the Open Doors Pledge, we will continue to prove that fair, inclusive and accessible recruitment isn’t just good practice — it’s the foundation of a stronger, more diverse workforce and a fairer society.
