Yolk Recruitment are currently working on behalf of a leading cloud-based expense management company and are recruiting for an Account Executive to join their small but successful team. This is a remote working opportunity where you will be working alongside the sales manager following up on inbound leads and offering a consultative approach to clients.

They are looking for someone who is based within a commutable distance to Cardiff (once a month potentially) and who is enthusiastic about a positive customer experience.
It is a B2B sales role where you will have responsibility for the sales cycle with the smaller accounts between 10-20 end users. This would entail qualifying customers and gathering requirements and providing a seamless customer experience through to a successful close. You’ll be revisiting unconfirmed losses and looking to get these reengaged with the product and convert.

Your Responsibilities as an Account Executive
  • First point of contact for speaking with sales opportunities over various channels such as live chat and telephone.
  • Responsible for holding consultative discovery calls to identify prospect requirements, pain points and key business drivers.
  • Work closely with the Sales Consultants to provide a seamless experience for prospect handover.
  • Deliver tailored software demonstrations and product walkthroughs to smaller clients. They are usually held online via video conferencing software.
  • Responsible for helping trial accounts get the most out of the system and being their point of contact for any questions.
  • Maintain a high level of competitor and market awareness, as well as the company’s products and wider industry-related knowledge.
  • Proactively reengage cold leads and provide regular outreach to pipeline prospects.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation and provide a seamless end-to-end sales cycle.
  • Keep the CRM system up to date with lead information to successfully track prospects and facilitate reporting
Your Skills/ Experience as an Account Executive
  • Sales experience and a track record of hitting sales targets
  • Background in software or SaaS is desirable but not essential
  • A passion for knowledge and continual learning of product and wider industry
  • Ability to pick up technology and software quickly
  • Demonstrable interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal fluency
  • Tenacity and a strong desire to succeed
