Accounts Receivable Assistant - £13 per hour – 3 months (extension highly like) – Hybrid (2/3 days in the office) – Billingham – One stage virtual interview – Interview and start ASAP

Yolk Recruitment are recruiting for an account receivable assistant to work in a cutting-edge technology company. This is an exciting opportunity to support a crucial industry making important lifesaving technology and the chance to develop your skill in accountancy within a supportive team.

Principle Accountable:

  • The Finance point of contact for the Operational/Commercial teams with regards to invoicing and customer account queries

  • Ensure that all invoice requests are reviewed/challenged/processed within a timely manner and to a high standard

  • Support credit control activities including debtors reporting and arranging the timely payment of invoices

  • Review and maintain customer data to ensure it is accurate and up to date

  • Co-ordinate the approval of supplier invoices for both the UK and overseas branch offices to ensure that prices correspond to the quotes provided and that any discrepancies are investigated before approval

  • Continual review of accounting processes to identify efficiencies/improvements and ensure effective and efficient working practices are adopted



Core Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • Experience of working to strict deadlines

  • Analytical thinking

  • Accuracy and attention to detail


Desirable Skills:

  • Educated to degree level

  • Willing to work towards an Accounting qualification

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

  • Working experience with SAP
